Chiayi City Museum of Art (hereinafter referred to as "Chiayi Museum") is a city museum that revitalizes and reuses old buildings, combining historical monuments with modern aesthetics. Based on "Chiayi, the City of Painting", it combines art and cultural creativity, and is committed to integrating art into life and education to enrich the humanistic connotation of Chiayi. The museum consists of three buildings, including the historic building (formerly the Chiayi Branch of the Tobacco and Liquor Monopoly Bureau), the main building (liquor warehouse) and the side building (finished tobacco and liquor warehouse), showing the characteristics of the fusion of the old and the new.

Located in the eastern district of Chiayi City, the Hinoki Forest Village is a cultural park featuring a cluster of Japanese-style buildings. Spanning approximately 3.4 hectares, it is Taiwan's first forest-themed cultural and creative park and the largest complex of Japanese-style buildings in the island. The park preserves numerous historical cypress buildings from the Japanese colonial period, including 29 wooden Japanese-style houses, a city-designated historic site (the Forestry Club), and a Tudor-style building. These buildings have been restored to their original appearance and have become popular destinations for culture, art, leisure, and tourism.

Chiayi Park is a comprehensive park with a long history and a large area in Chiayi City. It was built during the Japanese colonial period and was renamed Zhongshan Park, but later restored to its original name Chiayi Park. The park not only has rich natural landscapes, such as ancient trees, rockery, small bridges and flowing water, but also retains many historical relics and cultural landscapes, such as the Sun-shooting Tower, the Confucius Temple, the Fukang'an Memorial Monument, the Earthquake Memorial, and the No. 21 Steam Locomotive of the Alishan Forest Railway. In addition, Chiayi Park is also a good place for citizens to relax and have fun. It has facilities such as a children's play area, an ice rink, and a historical site information center. It is connected to the Chiayi City Baseball Stadium and the Chiayi Botanical Garden, forming a complete urban forest park.
